Environmental Summit was held on the 7th of November, 2019 at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia in Ljubljana. The meeting has a tradition of more than 20 years, and it has a rich professional program and a diverse selection of local and foreign speakers. The emphasis of the program held on the presentation of good and environmentally friendly practices in Slovenian companies.
LIFE CEPLAFIB launched at the 17th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium in Sardinia
TECOS, Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre has presented the latests results of LIFE CEPLAFIB on the 17th International Waste Management and Landfill Symposium, held from the 30th September to 4th of October, 2019, in Sardinia, Italy.
The European Commission has launched an importan pan-European project to establish a European Advanced Manufacturing (ADMA) Support Centre to help SMEs assess the possibility of adopting advanced manufacturing solutions and transforming their organisation towards next-generation factories with more competitive, modern and sustainable production.
The third project meeting within the LIFE CEPLAFIB consortium was held between on 11th and 12th of July, 2019. It was organized by our industrial partner ADRIA MOBIL, which is responsible for the implementation of final prototype products for the automotive sector.
The Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing (IHPS) with partners from 5 EU states is starting with a European co-funded project LIFE BioTHOP to introduce 100 %biodegradable, recyclable and compostable twine into hop fields, as environmentally friendly alternative to polypropylene twine, which is in use nowadays and which degradation in the nature can last up to 450 years. To fulfil the requirements of the circular economy, partners of the project are aiming to use the hop biomass after harvest, intertwined with this new twine, produce new bioplastic products in horticulture, agricultural and plastic packaging sectors.
Within the framework of the HIDSENZ project, Hidria AET d.o.o and TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre are developing a cavity pressure sensor for monitoring the injection molding process of plastic materials.
By launching the final conference of the MARTINA project, TECOS together with the project partners completed the three-year research and development period, which brought over 120 innovations in the field of advanced materials. MARTINA - MAteRials and Technologies for New Applications was recognized as one of the most prominent Slovenian business-technological model of cooperation, vital in the contribution of new knowledge in the field of material science and successful practice example of the efficacious cooperation between the industry and knowledge institutions.
TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Development Centre hosted the kick-off meeting as one of the partners in the INTERREG: S3HubsinCE project. The two-day meeting was dedicated to aligning the various contents and developing a common understanding of the project’s objectives as well as to socialising, networking and deciding on the future steps.
Srednja Evropa ima velik potencial za transnacionalne možnosti sodelovanja za spodbujanje izvajanja strategij RIS3 od spodaj navzgor (bottom-up), vendar večina teh priložnosti še vedno ni izkoriščena. S projektom INTERREG: S3HubsinCE – Sprostitev potenciala transnacionalnega sodelovanja prek hubov za digitalne inovacije za spodbujanje izvajanja RIS3 želimo projektni partnerji doseči prav to.
An European project will valorise post-consumer plastic waste and newsprint paper for new construction, packaging and automotive parts.
Partnerji mednarodnega projekta ECOSIGN, ki ga koordinira Razvojni center orodjarstva Slovenije TECOS, smo na 5. projektnem sestanku sprejeli datum začetka izvajanja pilotne izvedbe usposabljanj štirih modulov za študente in delavce. Usposabljanje bo potekalo od marca do junija 2018, sestanka pa so se poleg projektnih partnerjev udeležili tudi predstavniki Izvajalske agencije za izobraževanje, avdiovizualno področje in kulturo pri Evropski komisiji (EACEA), ki spremlja projekt.
Predstavniki partnerjev projekta KOR - Javnega štipendijskega, razvojnega, invalidskega in preživninskega sklada, podjetja Kompetenca in Razvojnega centra orodjarstva Slovenije TECOS so na skupnem srečanju uskladili tekoča vprašanja izvajanja projekta in začrtali nadaljnje korake za krepitev kompetenc zaposlenih v panožnih podjetij na področju orodjarstva.
Strateško razvojno-inovacijsko partnerstvo za Tovarne prihodnosti (SRIP ToP) vključuje orodjarstvo kot eno strateških panog slovenskega gospodarstva. Aktivno sooblikovanje razvoja panoge in za njen razvoj potrebnih kadrov sta bila poglavitna razloga za udeležbo na delavnici z naslovom Kompetence zaposlenih za tovarne prihodnosti.
