The consortium, guided by TECOS, is actively formed by ATLANTIS – Greece, CETEM – Spain, DLEARN – Italy, CPI – Slovenia and HESO – Cyprus.

1Point project wants to create an interesting and exciting VET training using the one-point lessons approach for maintenance sector. For this reason, the next generation of industry workers should be tech savvy, but current VET programs and teaching methodologies have not caught up yet. 1Point will promote a work-based learning approach and the acquisition of concrete knowledge and skills. Therefore, training with the 1Point methodology will support participants to carry out and reflect on tasks that are directly connected to their future workplace. The methodology will include the use of modern ICT technologies, accessible from different mobile devices and will include gamification aspects. In this way, the 1Point lesson model creates benefits for VET providers, trainers, learners, and the maintenance industry.
During the Kick-off meeting, apart from the presentations of all present organizations and of the principal objectives of the project, all outputs that will be created during all 24 months of the project were presented.
In detail, the partners will develop and test 2 Intellectual Outputs (IO) over the project period:
- IO1- ECVET Profile of the Maintenance Expert
- IO2- Training course for Maintenance Experts
During the project meeting, the individual work steps of the first intellectual output were dealt with in greater depth and the further procedure was discussed (O1/A1 – Research and O1/A2 – Training methodology) along with other project issues. The project partners confirmed that in the middle and last phase of the project according to virus situation, the 1Point project results will be presented and distributed in multiplier events in all participating countries of the consortium.
The next transnational project meeting of the consortium is planned to be held in mid-2021 in Thessaloniki (Greece) hosted by project partner ATLANTIS. Until then we will hold regular meetings on project activities.
