Project description:
Project FLEXMould is co-founded development project which is according to the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy S4 focused in priority axis Factories of the Future.
The main overall aim of the project Flexmould is development of Self-regulating prototype mould for injection moulding of polymer materials which is capable to produce geometrical different products by changing of cavities with autonomous regulated actuator’s system. Such mould will be capable to produce different variants of the same product or completely different products in smaller series on a cost efficient way.
Bizjan Orodjarstvo is responsible for fabrication of the flexible prototype mould with actuator’s system. Company will be also provider of the new generation of flexible moulds in the market.
Tecos role:
TECOS main role in the project is design a demonstration parts and development of the flexible mould concept with an actuator system and control unit. TECOS responsibility is also testing of the prototype mould and improving of the system. Besides, TECOS takes care on project management, technical and financial reporting in accordance with long-term experiences by coordination of demanding project.
